Thanksgiving is a time when we should all take inventory on the great things we have in our lives! In this special Thanksgiving blog I am going to reflect on 6 amazing things that happened in 2022, so far. I highly recommend you all taking a little time to sketch out some of the amazing highlights on your year so far! Journaling can be very theraputic!
The Peak Physique Annual Holiday Party Was A Hit- We kicked off 2022 with a bang at Peak Physique! Our annual holiday party was fun from start to finish! The catered meal from Qdoba was delicious, we honored Peak’s highest acheivers from 2021 with some amazing awards, played mini games and danced our butts off! Can’t wait to do it again next year!!
The Start Of An Annual Boys Trip- In early 2022 my brother, myself and 2 close friends began an annual “Boys Trip”. For 2022 we choose a weekend at Ho-Chunk in the Dells, and while the house absolutely won my money, we had a great time! I look forward to this being a yearly occurance, minus losing money at the casino!!
Peak Physique Helped A Person Who Truly Needed It- Former Peak Employee Billy Marks had some health issues that caused him both physical and financial stress. When Team Peak Physique learned about Billys issues we stepped up and raised over $1000 dollars to help give Billy some relief.
Seeing the joy and appreciation Billy fealt in the moment I gave him that check was something I will never forget! Thanks to all of you for helping a man truly in need.
Leah and I Had An Amazing Summer Vacation– For our summer 2022 vacation we decided to drive a full lap around Lake Michigan, stopping in tourist friendly towns along the way! We stayed in Holland, Traverse City, Escanaba, and Green Bay. The drive across the Straits of Mackinac was creepy to say the least!
A Hike Across The Glacial Drumline Trail- In mid-September my brother Dan, nephew Sawyer, and I walked 56 miles from one end of the Glacial Drumline Trail(Waukesha) to the opposite end in(Cottage Grove). So many fun memories were made its impossible to list them all. To sum it up the trip kicked our asses, but I think we would all do it again in a heartbeat!
I Caught My First Muskie- A quest that started over a year earlier was realized in October 2022! WIth the help of my good friend Jon Voight, I was able to catch my first Muskie! What a fun, and unforgettable moment! The fish struck about 20 feet from the boat, which meant I had the chance to feel the fishes power. Guided by Jon we caught and released the fish with no issues! Thanks Jon for bringing me to your hot spot.
Its been one hell of a year, and these are just some of the highlights! I am so thankful for the people in my life that have made these amazing moments possible! Can’t wait to make many many more memories with all of you!
